Van Poindexter

Van Poindexter is a senior director with PGIM Real Estate’s Agricultural Finance group. Van is responsible for managing the firm’s existing timberland portfolio and for sourcing new opportunities across the United States. ​

Prior to joining PGIM Real Estate, Van helped to manage timberland acquisitions, and also assisted in timberland accounting and management decisions for AcreTrader. Before then, he spent 3 years in banking including two more recently as a loan officer with First South Farm Credit.​

Van has a bachelor’s degree from The University of Mississippi and a master of Forest Resources with an emphasis on forest business from The University of Georgia’s Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources. Additionally, Van holds Registered Forester designations in Alabama and Mississippi. He previously served on the ​boards of the Coastal Conservation Association and Freshwater Land Trust ​in Alabama.
