jason.shapiro@pgim.comJason is an Executive Director in PGIM’s Institutional Client Group, focused on DC Solutions. In this role, he promotes PGIM’s DC insights and solutions to institutional defined contribution (DC) consultants and plan sponsors.
Prior to joining PGIM, Jason was Head of Defined Contribution, Institutional at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, where he worked since 2021. He also served as a Consultant Relations Senior Director during his tenure there.
Before joining Columbia Threadneedle Investments, he spent 10 years at Willis Towers Watson (WTW) where he served as head of DC research and strategy and sat on the firm’s DC Steering Committee. He also acted as a senior consultant to institutional retirement plan sponsors.
Prior to working at WTW, he was an investment associate at Buck (now Arthur J. Gallagher).
Jason serves on the DCIIA Plan Design & Administration Leadership Committee. He earned a B.S. in finance from the University of Maryland – College Park and an MBA from Columbia University. In addition, he holds the CFA®, FRM® and CAIA® designations.
