He leads the firm's defined contribution business, overseeing strategy, investments, distribution, research, product development, and overall business performance. He is responsible for PGIM's global retirement platform and related workplace solutions, spanning target date solutions, managed accounts, retirement income, stable value, private markets, and strategic partnerships. In this role, he helps connect PGIM's investment capabilities with Prudential's retirement and insurance expertise to support participants throughout their financial journey.
Prior to joining PGIM, he spent 17 years at Franklin Templeton, where he most recently served as Global Head of Retirement, Workplace & Wealth and was a member of the firm's Management Committee. During his tenure, he helped scale the firm's retirement and insurance platforms, led significant corporate acquisitions, strategic investments, and integration initiatives, and developed innovative DC capabilities spanning managed accounts, retirement income, financial technology, and private markets. He also served on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Fiduciary Trust International, a subsidiary of Franklin Templeton. Earlier in his career, he was a founding member of the DC investment-only business at Columbia Threadneedle Investments.
Qub serves on the Executive Committee of the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association and the Money Management Institute's Institutional Steering Council. He is a board director emeritus of The SPARK Institute and serves on the Board of Directors of The Florida Aquarium. He has been named among the "100 Most Influential" figures in the DC industry for eight consecutive years and is a frequent speaker on retirement innovation, retirement income, private markets, financial technology, and workplace-to-wealth convergence.
Qub holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Boston University and completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and McKinsey & Company.
