Alex Viorst is an executive director at PGIM Real Estate. Based in Arlington, Alex is responsible for direct loan originations and specialized product support in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern regions of the United States. Alex specializes in the company’s affordable housing programs.
Prior to joining the company in 2008, Alex was managing director with the debt group at MMA Financial, a firm specializing in tax credit and debt origination for affordable multifamily properties. In that capacity, he was lead debt originator in the mid-Atlantic and northeastern states as well as in New York and Chicago. Before MMA Financial, he was senior vice president at Bank of America, managing the Washington, D.C., office of the firm’s community development banking group.
Alex has a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Alex previously served as President of the Institute for Responsible Housing Preservation, an affordable housing trade association.
