Keshav Rajagopalan is Managing Director and Head of PGIM's Strategic Capital Group (SCG). SCG delivers holistic portfolio management and fosters strategic partnerships by designing tailored multi‑asset solutions that draw on the firm’s comprehensive public‑private investment platform, partnering with insurers, reinsurers, select asset owners, and sponsors.
Prior to joining SCG, Rajagopalan worked in PGIM’s Institutional Relationship Group (IRG), where he focused on chief investment officer relationships across PGIM’s U.S. and Canadian institutional clients. He was also responsible for strategic client initiatives globally.
Before IRG, Rajagopalan spent three years with PGIM’s Global Wealth division as co‑head of the exchange‑traded funds business, where he led the firm’s entry into the ETF market, launching six actively managed ETFs that grew to more than $750 million in assets under his leadership. He also spent time in PGIM’s business strategy group, supporting the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, and other senior leaders.
Rajagopalan joined PGIM from Limestone Capital Advisors, a boutique oil and gas private equity firm focused on outbound investment from Asia into the U.S. energy sector. Prior to that, he was a Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company, where he worked on strategy for financial‑services firms.
He received a BA and BS from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating Phi Beta Kappa with highest honors, and was elected student body president of the 50,000‑student campus. He later earned an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Rajagopalan is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and served as an Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
